Orientation
At Ekip Steel, the orientation program is handled in two stages, general and vocational orientation.
To accelerate the job orientation process of new employees who start work in all blue and white-collar positions and to eliminate possible uncertainties, a 3-day general orientation program is conduct as the first 2 days in the office environment and 1 day on the site. All processes are told entirely from the history of the Company to its development stages and compulsory training such as OHS and environment and the sessions where Ekip Steel’s management system is introduced and the company culture is conveyed. Upon the completion of the site tour in which the factories are visited, the employees are directed to the working spaces where the vocational orientation (on-the-job training) process will commence.
At this stage, an average of 1,5-week program, where they can meet and spend time with all their teammates and observe everyone’s work, is organized for white-collar employees and the implementation of this program is followed. It is aimed to form interdependent team friendship following a program which is put into practice to enable them to adapt to the company culture in a short time.
The vocational orientation (on-the-job training) program is implemented for each position in their work area within a pre-established plan and pre-determined periods. The vocational orientation (on-the-job training) is conducted for a minimum of 30 and a maximum of 60 days depending on the position.
